Dad’s Best Butter Steaks



  1. Set the grill to high and heat to a minimum of 400°F
  2. Season both sides of steak with salt & pepper to taste
  3. Mix remaining ingredients in a small bowl and set aside
  4. Cook the steaks on the grill 3-4 min, flip and continue cooking 4-5 min or until the desired internal temperature is reached. (Medium-rare: 145°F Medium: 160°F Well done: 170°F)
  5. Remove the steaks from the grill and allow to rest for 3 min
  6. Use a pastry brush to coat both sides of the steaks with the garlic butter mixture
  7. Serve immediately

Tomato Jerky Sauce



1. Chop jerky into bite-sized pieces, place in a bowl and cover with boiling water for a few minutes until softened slightly.  Drain excess water and set aside.

2. In a medium saucepan, sauté onion & peppers on medium heat until onion is translucent. Add garlic and cook for 2-3 min

3. Add jerky, diced tomatoes, and remaining ingredients. Cook on medium heat stirring occasionally for 8-10 min until sauce thickens.

4. Serve on pasta, on pizza or use as a dip for cheese toast!
